02 Public Beta II
There Public Beta II starts on 3-12-03
New features included a bunch of emotes and new vehicles in the shop.
Like the over the rainbow pack and the Tow of Hearts Pack Regular Price: T$ 17,999 .
And a bunch of dune buggies and new board designs. Buggy Racer Three Regular Price: T$ 10,499
Nebula Hoverboard at T$ 13,999 and Seamonster Hoverboard T$ 13,999
Beanies were also new
Bumblebee pack goes down to $4999 after being jacked up to 6599 near the end of the previous beta.
There were a bunch of new drinks as well. Not sure which ones though.
There were four new land masses in this version. 1 big and 3 small islands.
Helpers at first denied they existed.

3-18-03 There announces hoverbaord will learn new trick in the next venison (may 19) Also sends out survey letter with 5k bonus for completion to many members.
3-19-07 The first "There Class" starts.
"The idea behind the There Class Program is to make it easier for newbies to get to know people when they first join. Rather than joining and being thrown out there without any help, you're joining in groups and learning together with help from There and the member community.
Each week a new group joins, and each group is considered a 'Class'. You're not expected to go to 'class', which is sometimes the idea people get when hearing about the program. The whole basis of the program is, as I say, 'Join Together. Play Together.'

4-1-03 New designer guidelines include censorship of many items.
4-1-03 Rayce make a map showing the location of existing islands including Tyr and Egypt. He adds Saja a few days later.
4-9-03 Developers discover there skin colors released by There are wrong.
4-9-03 Crystal Shard finds helicopter coming soon artwork in Saja folder.
4-10-03 Will Harvey Gives a speech Most of audience cant read the other half. First suggestion of building a There Stadium by CrystalShard.
4-15-03 Tom gives speech in There
There was some sort of Easter egg contest in there but I cant find any decent info on it.
4-17-03 Screensavers LAN party features There!
4-24-03 people taking over public buildings and landmarks spur a debate in the there forums and on There Universe.
4-24-03 Karuna becomes vehicle friendly for a few hours.
5-1-03 Drug related approvals create a uproar in There forums.
5-4-03 There Universe poll asks why would you leave There. #1 Bored/ Not enough to do #2 Are you kidding, why would I leave.
5-5-03 Meret proposes a multiple day end of PB II party which becomes a wonderful series of compeditive events. There offers special prizes to the top participants including new hoverbikes coming in PBIII.
5-7-03 DSX sees and hears a boombox.
5-12-03 DSX invents power jumping based on collision meshes.
5-20-03 There Fun holds a Q + A session in There and talks about the new version.
5-22-03 Tom gives another talk to the beta testers. He speaks about voice chat and asks for volunteers.
5-?-03 URU takes applications for beta
5-22-03 Limited Edition Hover Bike listed in Auction.
